Cambridgeshire Constabulary had a requirement to create a mobile solution, and selected Lenovo tablet devices powered by Intel Core i5 and Atom processors. This was the ideal platform to deliver tuServ to their officers.
tuServ is a cryptographically secure application, that changes the way officers gather, manage and share their information within their force.
Cambridgeshire Constabulary wanted to standardise their systems so they could maximise the investment in IT assets, and decided the Microsoft environment was the way to go.
Providing officers with mobile access to the systems they use every day was seen as a logical part of the overall ICT strategy.
Intel put together a case study highlighting tuServ at Cambridgeshire Constabulary, and how it complemented their choice of Lenovo devices with Intel processors.
Robert Hogg, Black Marble’s Managing Director and Chief tuServ Architect said: “Innovations in hardware provide exciting new opportunities that software can exploit to enable technological innovation. tuServ is a shining example of what is possible when hardware and sofware perfectly complement one another.”
